Montgomery Partners, the asset management unit that ran Montgomery's mutual fund business, made the bold decision to add hedge funds and other alternative investment products to its mix of investment offerings. To do this, Montgomery needed to educate its vast client network on these new products.
IAB Custom Media designed a 10-part online tutorial about alternative investments, leading off with a three-part series about hedge funds -- the types of funds out there, the advantages and disadvantages, myths about hedge funds, risks, regulations, etc.
The tutorials took complex subject matter and explained it to a wide targeted audience in plain-language text, colorful video and graphs and a succinct audio feed. Plus, having been compliance reviewed by our own team of Series 24 licensees, they also met the added challenge of passing regulatory hurdles.
